Generated a fully subscribed underwritten public offering, supplemented by bank debt, for mining operations and product export start up
As part of the FTSE 250 company Board, enabled a strategic exit at $2.3 Billion after series of funding rounds totalling $1 Billion (including equity placement, Convertible Bond raise, bank debt)
Prepared and led transaction to sell a 40% minority stake to a financial investor with order-of-magnitude increase in company valuation achieved through strategic re-positioning of the business
Initiated and completed multiple M&A projects aimed at minority buy-outs, non-core activity spin-offs and group business structure optimisations
Established and maintained investor relations for publicly listed companies
Business optimisation and restructuring
Led successful adaption to a significant crisis through the reduction of capital, operating and compliance spend by 70%, operating and headcount by a third, followed by a successful fund raise and mine and coal export start up
Strengthened financial management and ensured working capital control, introducing weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual cashflow planning, as well as treasury operations centralisation and company-wide IT strategy implementation for a $1.5B oilfield service business.

Enabled significant reduction in royalty obligations and full ownership of the main operating project through restructuring of royalty and shareholder agreements with a joint venture partner
